This is the End...

Dearly Beloved,
If you have not heard, over the last few days there have been MANY Changes in Serve Mexico. Paul Lambert has resigned his position, after 5 yrs. as Field Director of Mexico. The consequences of this action, has left Serve Mexico without a director & without a qualified director there will be no Team in Mexico. So, After 14 yrs with Denton Bible Church I’m sad to say, our term has finally come to an end. We have had a WONDERFUL time in Mexico! We have met the BEST people in the world! We are so SAD to be leaving! GOD speaks to us through HIS word, thru HIS Church, and I also believe that HE uses circumstances to guide us. GOD has shut down Mexico as a mission field for DBC for the time being. We are here in Denton indefinitely. I will be getting ahold of each one of you personally here in the next few weeks to thank you for your service to the LORD and to us.
I (Bryan) will be looking for a Job here in Denton ASAP as we do not have the support to sustain us here in the States. SO, If you know of a job here in the Denton area, Please give me a shout! my cell number is 940-600-2793. I am not afraid to work out in the Texas heat, I speak English and Spanish, I’m a former painter (10+yrs. of experience), I also worked in Sales (Inside & Outside) in the Dallas area for 5 yrs. We would like to stay in the Denton area but I will certainly pray about any offers to go outside Denton. Whatever job I take, we will
ALWAYS be Working for the LORD! The command to make disciples still applies to our life in Mexico or Texas!
We would ask that you Please keep supporting us in the near future Until I can find a job, as this move was completely unexpected.
     The Move
We must move our house in Mexico to Denton. That will require a moving truck in Mexico to move our stuff to the border & then a U-Haul to Denton. SO, it should be about a $2,000 dollar move. If the LORD moves your heart to help, please let me know.

Prayer request
For GOD to provide the perfect Job for me & our family
For my wife and the transition
For our kids and the transition
For our house in Mexico to get moved to Texas without a Problem
For our car to sell there in Mexico

GOD Bless yall for your service, your Prayers and your Support!

Thank ya’ll!

Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New Year!!

Dearly Beloved,
We hope yall had a Merry CHRISTmas & a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Myanas CHRISTmas Party. This is a very poor neighbo Mom & Dad came to visit us on CHRISTmas & we had a great time!
We have had a great year this year! I would like to tell you just one story about a boy named Alex. We helped start an Awanas group ( Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15). well one of the fist kids to come was Alex. At the time he didn’t know CHRIST. thru the course of the next few months of games, singing, teaching, and personal time, Alex has now has accepted christ as his savior and is child of GOD forever! Thank ya’ll for your time and investing in us and our various ministries here in Mexico! Here are some pictures from the Awanas here in the Neighborhood and this is about all of the CHRISTmas some of these kids will see. We bought presents for them and ate tamales and drank hot choclate! Alex is with me.

What does next year hold for the Foxes? Here is what we will be doing in 2014!
- Start an Awanas in the south part of Queretaro with Iglesia Biblica iMexico Vive!
- Starting a Mens Bible study at iMexico Vive! (Man of GOD)
- Starting a Womens Group at iMexico Vive! (Titus Two)
- Finishing up Growing Kids GOD’s Way iMexico Vive!
- Basic training bible study in small group iMexico Vive!
- Directing the Church on Sundays
- Pastors Meeting and Planning every two weeks for iMexico Vive!
- Sunday School iMexico Vive!
- Preaching (Every once and a while...)

End of the yr. Giving opportunity
Two years Ago, When we got to Queretaro, Denton Bible Church loaned us the Money to buy a much needed Nationalized Car. I have tried over the last few years to sell our Expedition in Texas to no avail. We have paid off some of the car but we still need $5,000 to go. Would you consider helping us pay off this debt to the church? We will be needing to return to Texas at the end of March to try and raise up our support. It has gotten pretty low these last few years. we’ll see ya’ll soon & thank ya’ll for all you do for us.
One time gift to the car fund.

To Donate to this fund simply write a check to:

Summer Time means TEAMS!

Howdy Ya’ll!
Hope yall are doin well,

FINALLY! TEAMS in Queretaro

Well the Summer here has been quite a busy one! We have received in two teams from two different churches. One from Indiana -The Grove and the other church was Lamotte Missionary Church from Michigan. I personally didn’t get to participate much with the team from Indiana because of several problems that we had as a family (I’ll talk about that below). But, I did get to go with the team from Lamotte Missionary Church, in Michigan! It was a great time! We were all over a little town called Pueblito (little town). We shared the gospel various times a day, had outreach in the parks, played soccer with the people, and then we would share with them, & we had a few open air preaching sessions. The hearts of the people in this little town are very hard. When you come into the town There is a huge statue of the virgin of guadalupe that overlooks the town and at the back of the town there is an ancient Olmec pyramid. But, in the midst of it all, there are three (that I know of) Christian Churches there. Gracia Soberana (Sovereign Grace), iMexico Vive!, Compasion y Vida (Compasion & Life). please pray for the lives of the people that live there, that GOD would take away the scales from their eyes to truly see HIM! and for the Christian churches there to proclaim his WORD to Pueblito!
Placys Mom

One afternoon we got a call from one of placy’s cousins. she said her mom was in the hospital and it didn’t look good. so, we packed up the car and drove two days to chihuahua. The drive was without incident. Her Mom and Dad are in their 80’s so this could have very well been the last time we saw her. We arrived at her house to find her back home resting bed. Placy got to take care of her and nursed her back to where she was walking and eating. with the LORDS blessing, she got better over the course of the next week, Praise the LORD!  at the end of the week, we had to go, we had teams coming to Queretaro for the first time in two years! As
we headed back home, the timing chain broke in Durango State! The Car stopped in the middle of NOWHERE. well, where the car stopped there was a SOS. an sos is an emergency call beacon in the middle of nowhere! we pressed a button, a ladies voice came out of the box and asked us if we needed assistance. We said yes that our car stopped running and could they send a tow truck. in 20 min. there was a tow truck towing us to the toll bridge where a mechanic would meet with us! the mechanic looked at the car and started shaking his head, then he said “im sorry my friend but it is your timing chain. it will be expensive to fix and take about a week or so.” so in faith I said “ok” what else am I supposed to say? so we towed it to his shop. Then took us to the local bus station, where we bought 5 tickets to Queretaro. 12 hrs later, we made it home. safe and sound. for the next two weeks I was without a vehicle. then I got the call. It’s ready to go. Praise GOD for his provision! I praised him thru the whole processes, and now as I retell the story I am praising HIM again! won’t you join me!?

Placy’s Health

Well, about two months back, Placy went to the doctor for a checkup and the doctor ordered a sonogram. on the sonogram he found a cyst on her ovary. to be sure, he sent her to have a cat scan. the results of the cat scan said that she had, in fact, TWO cysts on her Ovaries. Her doctor pondered surgery but, instead of surgery, he sent her to a gynecologist to be 100% sure. today she went to the gynecologist and had an “inside” sonogram done and PRAISE the LORD, there are NO SIGNS of any cysts! In TEXAS, we call this a MIRACLE! Thank Ya’ll so much for you prayers! GOD has heard and answered our Prayers! My wife has been all Smiles for the rest of the day today!

 Mateo and Victor

As you know, Logan Plays for the Chivas here in Queretaro. that means that I take him to practice two days a week. At practice, mostly all moms bring their kids. So I try to walk or read (and generally stay away from all Moms!) I started praying for GOD to send some Dads to the practice that I could get to know. Well, HE did. HE sent Victor and Mateo. these two Dads were very leary of me at first. but now, we have become pretty good friends. I pray for them every practice. I would like to invite them over to dinner some night in the future. Please Pray for our friendship, their Marriages, and families, and that the LORD might save their souls someday soon.

“Basic Training” in Pueblito

I am teaching a “Basic Training” bible study in Pueblito. It is a fun and exciting study! We range anywhere from 17yrs old to 60 somethin! we talk about things that rock their world. One night i told them that “Making Disciples is NOT an Option. GOD calls us to do it. for the rest of our lives, we must do it. The Great Commission is not an Option.” NOBODY had ever told them that before. It was so good to see their faces as they heard this truth. the Study is designed to help them thru the processes of learning how to disciple and then leading someone thru it. Its by Campus Crusade and the Navs. Please Pray for this study and the folks in it. That they might APPLY it to their lives.

12 yr. Anniversary!

Placy and I just Celebrated our 12 yr. Anniversary! Can ya believe it?! She MUST Love me!

Thank ya'll for all you do for us! GOD Bless ya'll!

FoxNews Update! "Better Late than Never!"

Dearly beloved,
I am so Sorry for being so late on this newsletter. sometimes here in Mexico, life gets hectic and things get pushed back or rearranged. Thats what has happened with this newsletter. I’ll try and not let it happen again. Please forgive me.

The Fox family

Placy - just returned from a trip to Chihuahua to visit her family there. 18 hrs on a bus going and 14 coming back! she was there for a week with our littlest (Ale) and I kept the other two. she stayed with her mom and dad who are79 and 80 yrs. old with failing health. Placy’s health, well, it is up and down. some days are good and some are bad. the weather is always changing this time of year and that really hurts her. after she got back from Chihuahua, she got sick and has not yet recovered. Please pray for the health of my beautiful wife.

Logan, Isabella & Alejandra- our kids are such a blessing! they are they are a huge help in our ministries. A lot of times at the bible club, they take initiative and get the kids to come out and Play. Some of their best friends are the kids in Awanas. They love saturday morning! The other day at Logan’s game Ale shared the gospel with one of her friends that she met at the game! granted, it was a five yr. old gospel presentation, but still! she is the spark plug of the family! she is never without a friend! if she shows up somewhere and there are kids not talking to one another, in about 5 min. she has them playing games and talking like best friends! She is definitely our People person!

Psalm 127:3-5
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
the fruit of the womb a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior
are the children of one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!
He shall not be put to shame
when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

We are So Blessed!

Team Mexico

Well, team Mexico is growing! The Shrivers have arrived! They are here for about a year doing their stint here with us. Ryan has started Spanish classes and is giving English classes with a heavy emphasis on the gospel! they have got a house and are moved in. were so happy they are here & may GOD Bless them here!

Ministry in Mexico

iMexico Vive! (Growing kids GOD’s Way) I have been working with Pastor Saul’s church every saturday teaching “Growing kids GOD’S way” It’s a good parenting study that is much needed here in Mexico. here there are no rules for kids. they get everything they scream for, fit throwing results in the kids getting everything they want, except a whooping! Please pray for the parents of this study! Also i have been asked to be apart of Saul’s planning team. That means that I will have various new responsibilities at his church. Saul has asked me to be apart of his Preaching team. Please pray for me to Preach and teach clearly and with confidence!
Also, we will be starting three cell groups in the city. I will be leading one of those groups.

Cristo Salva-Mens Ministry (man of GOD). we are finishing up the “Man of GOD” study here at Cristo Salva. for me personally it has been a GREAT study! Nothing “New” but a great refresher course on being a husband father, son, and servant!
Awanas (Evangelism) the kids are still coming! Every saturday we go to the neighborhood Maravillas and play with the kids, teach the kids about Jesus, do scripture memory with them, eat and drink and just love on them. there are various hurdles that we encounter almost every week: the attitude of the parents, attendance drop off, other things competing for their time and attention. Please pray for these kids!
FAT Boys (Discipleship)- sad to say I will probably be ending my time with Beto & Paul. they have family and very demanding jobs. trying to find time to meet just isn't working out. I will be praying to the LORD for a new bunch of FAT Boys
Moi & Nerri- (Premarital) speaking of FAT Boys, Moi my FAT Boy from Monterrey is getting married this year to a GREAT girl from Queretaro named Nerri. they have aske Placy and myself to take them thru the Pre-Marital course “before you say I Do” what a privilege! we will be starting that study with them pretty quick! Moi still lives in Monterrey & Nerri lives here in Queretaro so we still have some logistics to work out.

FoxNews Update! Thanksgiving!

Thankful for yall!
Dearly Beloved, we just finished with a wonderful thanksgiving here the other day and i was reflecting on the things that I (personally) am thankful for. One of those things is ya’ll. I don’t think I can tell you sufficiently how thankful we are for yall. Ya’ll pray for us, ya’ll support us, when we come home, ya’ll look for us, Ya’ll LOVE us! Thank ya’ll so much. A Fox Family tradition that we have here is that every meal, we take a photo down from the fridge and we pray for that family. This Thanksgiving I was telling Denise Lambert who the people were on the fridge & I realized that those Pictures are OLD! SO, I want to take some time to BEG you for a new family picture! Please send it to my email and I’ll print it out and stick it up. send me a few prayer request too.

The Foxes
The Foxes are doing good. We are relatively well at this time. we just got over a three week bout of flu & general sickness (the whole Family). Now we seem to be rolling right along. We are getting ready to come back to Denton for the Missions conference! WOOOHOOO!! We will be getting in to Dallas on Dec. 17th! We can’t wait to see ya’ll! we will be coming in on an American airlines flight. We will be needing to meet with new people when we come in, so, if you have friends that are not supporting missions, please drop our names to them! Denton Bible supports almost 100 Missionaries, and we have been on the field for almost 9 years, so we are going to need all the help ya’ll can give us!

Our Ministry Here!
Our Church Cristo Salva- Boy, this church is really growing! It seem that GOD is really blessing HIS church here in Queretaro. As the whole team is getting ready to come back to Denton for the Missions conference, Please pray that GOD would protect HIS holy flock.
The Church iMexico Vive! (New)-I have been meeting on and off with a young pastor here in Queretaro and GOD seem to have blessed that relation. recently as we were having coffee together, I asked him if he needed any help at his Church and he said that he would like some help with the Men & the Marrieds. I will be meeting with him tomorrow to talk about that. Please pray for this new Opportunity to Serve the LORD in this new Church! The Pastors name is Saul.
Felipe-(New) Felipe comes from the Capital of Mexico, Mexico City. He came to know the LORD through our Awanas ministry a few months back. he is 16 and Hungry. When we return after CHRISTmas, I will start discipling him! Please Pray for our time together!
Fat Boys- Beto, Paul, I have just started studying I Timothy. We are doing accountability, Scripture memory, and counseling. I LOVE THIS TIME! Please pray for our time together.
Single Moms- (Titus 2) Placy is still meeting with her women. Please pray for them. it’s a hard ministry.
BTCP- We are now in book 7 Church Ministry/Admin./Educ. I took BTCP 15 yrs ago in english. I’m really enjoying it in Spanish this time around. Looking forward to the day when I can teach it!
Awanas Ministry- Wonderful new ministry up the hill from our church. Several of those kids have come to know the LORD thru this ministry. They will be having a CHRISTmas party here in the next few weeks. Please pray for the kids and their Family members!
Mens Ministry- (Man of GOD) Great time with the men of the Church studying the Word and hanging out!
Jovenes (Youth Ministry)- I have handed off the youth group. I have worked with them for the last year and enjoyed my time with them, but now, it is the time for others in the Church to take over that ministry. May the LORD bless them!

Ok, I have been writing to yall for the last 9 yrs. Last year I almost lost a few supporters because of my lack of communication. Please write me back and tell me the things that I can improve upon to be a better communicating Missionary. Please be honest. I TRY to get a newsletter out to yall quarterly. Sometimes its comes late. I’m sorry for that. no excuses. PLEASE Answer. Help me.

Please pray for our time together.
-Kids ministry (NEW) Cristo Salva has started an outreach (Awanas) to a poor neighborhood a few miles north of us. Placy and the kids are going. We tell the kids before everytime we go “that we do this to tell them about Christ, so if you have an opportunity, share Jesus with your new friends.” They really have a good time there!
-Men’s Ministry-man of GOD study! We are in our 7th week of the study and we are confronting many truths and issues in our lives. this is a GREAT study and is challenging us as men, to walk closer with GOD.
